Lightbulb fix for under grill thing?

A while back my cruise control messed up so i guess they had to cut out that part of my lower grill thing. Im not really quite sure, this had happened before i had the car but i was wondering if i could possibly get a mesh grill for this or something of that sort. and then maybe even some of those grill led lights down there aswell (if i feel like it wouldnt look ugly). Would I beable to get a mesh grill for this? if so how would i go about doing that? Also any opinions on the idea?

I saw this and took a look at my '06 to see and noticed that my lower grill extends end to end on that opening. The first part of this generation used a laser mounted there. For 2004-2006 they switched to a radar based cruise which was moved behind a rectangular insert behind the main grill (basically makes it look like I put a cover over my emblem). Hope that helps!

For the 2004-2006 model years:
The CL (Custom Luxury) and UL (Ultra Luxury) selection cars came standard with DLCC (Dynamic Laser Cruise Control).
At some point in the 2004 model year production (probably around Jan 2004) you could order another feature called Pre-Collision System (PCS) which replaced DLCC with DRCC among other things.
Model Year 2005 prices:
Package LP (Custom Luxury) = $5935
Package LQ (Custom Luxury with PCS) = $8185 - includes DRCC
Package UL (Ultra Luxury) = $11320
Package UN (Ultra Luxury with PCS) = $13570 - includes DRCC
So, it was (after ca. Jan 2004), an option, not really a production change. Both PCS and non-PCS cars were manufactured for late 2004, all 2005, and all 2006 model years..

You can buy the little square hole trim piecefrom Lexus.

It's part number 18 in the diagram.

It looks like #18 is the housing (socket) for the Dynamic Laser Cruise Control sensor (which is optical).
