Not your normal height sensor issue, or is it?

Default Not your normal height sensor issue, or is it?

Hey guys, just looking for some feedback. I've been reading up a bit on some common height sensor issues for the LS and it seems that most of the threads are about sagging rear suspension or uneven ride height. I got a little different issue. I recently purchased an '02 UL with Data Controller (and Youzealand SS Pro kit) and everything worked fine when I test drove the car. I could raise it up, lower it to daily ride height, and dump it all the way. About a week after I bought the car, I wanted to swap in my VS-XX's, so I took the original wheels off that came with the car and put on my Works. Even after the swap, the ride was fine and could still fully air out. About a week or two after that, I noticed that the car wouldn't completely air out. I also noticed that the
Height Hi" light would come on when I tried to adjust the height. It would go down to the daily ride height, but that's it. Also I noticed that the height was uneven and that the right side was fairly low, but the left rear was higher than the rest. Now, I did notice that the left rear shock was leaking oil, so I know that needs to be replaced, but a leaky shock wouldn't not allow the suspension to completely air out would it? Is it a height sensor issue or is the leaky shock the culprit? I plan to get the car scanned when I get back from my trip next week, but just looking for some ideas/help. Thanks in advance.

Oh and BTW, I don't DD this car. In fact, in the last 3-4 weeks that I've owned the car, I've only driven it about 6 times. Needless to say, I was a little disappointed, especially after reading thread after thread about how bullet proof and how reliable the LS is. No worries though, I love the car and it's a huge step up from my 2GS. It's merely a minor speed bump to over come.
