How to remove the trunk liner '05 LS430
HI.
I guess this is just about the ultimate noob question, but I really don't want to break anything.
Also, I have done a forum search plus have the service manuals, but could use a bit more detail.
I want to remove or loosen the trunk liner to move the XM antenna to the 3rd light housing, since it looks strange on the trunk lid.
I have removed the 3rd light plastic box, but would like to know how to deal with the trunk liner.
It appears to be fastened by a row of screws with heads that look like Torx (but don't fit any of my Torx bits, hex bits, square bits, etc.).
Do they just pry out, or is there a magic trick to unfasten them?
Thanks in advance.

You'll find most of the instructions you need under topics concerning replacing the license plate lights with LED's, as I and several other members have done. I found an old thread and copied the following from one of a member's post. I hope it helps.
"to change the license plate bulbs you need to have a flathead and phillips screwdriver. first pry off all of the little black plastic screws holding the trunk cover on, there should be 4 or 5 of them total I think, including the ones under the cover for the inner tail lights, then use a phillips screwdriver and unscrew the two bolts holding the plastic "pull" handle in place. then you need to take the trunk light off by using a flathead screwdriver and sliding it under the plastic on the right side and pushing the metal piece holding the light in. once that is finished, use the flathead screwdriver to press the three plastic tabs holding the plastic outer rim of the trunk release handle, one on the left side, front, and right side, there is also another tab on the back but once you get the first three it should pop off. once the plastic rim is off, there is another bolt that you need to unscrew with a phillips screwdriver to get the whole trunk release handle off. with all of these things removed, you should now be able to see where the bulbs are located"
