Default 2001 168,000

2001 Base bought Aug 2012 with 122,000 now have 168,000. Going to drive it until it quits, then put it back together and do it all over again....

Have a 2003 LS 430 with 201,000 miles, and the car still drives like the first 100 miles. Incredible. Also my seats are in almost brand new shape, but broken in enough for an ultra soft ride.

2003 Ultra Luxury 162k....bought it a few months ago for my fiance. What a great car. I really think these cars are the real hidden bargain in the 10 year old used car market. The car is so clean and came with all dealer service records, I could barely touch a 7 or 8 year old Camry or Accord (loaded of course) for what I paid for the Lexus. Total bargain

Default 2001 LS430 with Nav, 215K

Just put 2nd timing belt/water pump on it. Hoping to get 320-350K.

Other than the scheduled stuff:
Steering wheel tilt and retract motors stopped working at the 120K mark.
Replaced both rear wheel bearings - Pass at 150, Drivers at 160K mark.
Replaced drivers side rear axle at around 180K (about 900 bucks from Lexus, found one on ebay for 100 bucks).
Replaced Bank one oil control valve when timing belt was done (205K).
Replaced front sway bar links at 210K.
Replaced Bank two oil control valve last week.
Lastly, the Mark Levinson speakers SUCK. I have several that have bad surrounds, starting with the Subwoofer that went bad at the 120K mark.
Edit:
Alternator went at 215K

My LS430 (2004) is currently on 249637 miles and still rolling like new!

My previous LS400 (1996) was on 262000 when I sold it.

Gotta love these cars..

03 Base Crystal White - 189,000 as of this morning.

I'm Second owner previous owner had the car serviced like clock work all the way up to 160,000K at the dealership and then at an independent shop after that. Timing belt was just done at 182,000 miles and has been very well taken care off documented oil changes and fluid flushes/changes on the transmission, radiator, brake fluid, and power steering. It does have some minor issues though.

- Front struts low speed valving is no good makes thudding noise and low speed.
- Driver seat heater does not work.
- Passenger side door lock motor is shot needs replacing.
- Throws a CEL for P0441/442/446 even after replacing gas cap evap canister obviously has a leak as periodically you can smell gas vapors from that area through the a/c vents.

Other than that the car is extremely solid with no major issues.

We'll get there....a point in time will come when 300k cars are left and right. The Maxima thread made me burst out laughing when someone came along with 479k, and then he said also, it drives like it has 479k....

(I'm getting within 400 mi. of 100k)

I have 302k on my '01 base. My wife has 356k on her '01 UL. We both love our 430's and can say without a doubt they've been the best vehicles we've owned so far.

Any major repairs needed at those miles? How many times have the cam seals been replaced, etc??
