The best sparkle the 430 can get.
Yesterday I got my Porter Cable 7424xp wolfgang kit. First thing I wanted to tackle is my headlights which have been polished numerous times by hand. So I really had a big itch to polish 'em with a tool. Picture is worth a thousand words. One headlight is done, one not.
After headlights I decided to try and see how tail lights would come out. Yet again, WOW, tail lights look brand new. It's hard to see in the picture but if you look closely, left one is polished and right is not.
First I used Meguiars PlastX with a polishing pad, speed 5, then Meguiars Mirror Glaze 10 Professional Plastic Polish with same pad and speed.
Results are mind blowing, there is no way to get it by hand.
Now I'm trying to correct my paint. Already polished the whole car with a light cutting pad and a light cutting polish. Results are very good, many scratches polished out but many are left. Great shine is back. As I'll be completely done with paint correction I'll post a full story with pics and what and how.
Thank you.

Good work.
You can coat the lights in "spar urethane". Mix it 50/50, or even 60/40 with mineral spirits, and put on a light coat. This will prevent them from hazing again, for a long while.
Another option is Opticoat, but it is considerably more expensive.

Thanks. Before I thought I could polish, buff and wax a car by hand in a reasonable amount of time. Man was I wrong, not only I spend 5-6 hours doing the car, my hands were falling off and my back was killing me. With a buffer job is much easier to do and takes half the time than by hand. Plus results are spactacular, never attainable to this degree by hand.

Looks great - huge difference on the lights.

Be careful with the polisher on the lights, too much heat from friction will cause a lot of micro cracks to show up later and they are virtually impossible to remove.
