I know the thread asks for RECENT purchases but as I read what other people paid for their vehicles I realize how good a deal I got (imo) 2yrs ago I got a 2004 LS Moonlight Pearl/Ecru, 64k miles for $19.9k
I have 74k miles on it now. Based on forum info and Ebay ads I could probably sell it today for the same amount i paid after driving it for nearly 2 yrs and putting 10k miles on the vehicle.
Love my ride!!!

Just bought a silver 04 UL from a BMW dealership in JAX, FL. to replace a 99 LS400. Car was very clean, 1 owner, 39,520 miles, clean carfax and full service records. Paid $24,800 which seemed fair based on the market. Still trying to figure how some of the features work but, so far, the car seems a suitable replacement for the LS400, which I loved.

If you go to mylexus.com, register your VIN, and become a member, you can then download a copy of the owners manual in pdf format. Furthermore, you can order a hard copy for free. On that site you can also view the Lexus service listing of what's been done to your car.

The owner's manual is an absolute must for a new owner. A long read but worth it, and a handy reference for how to operate many features.

Enjoy the "new" car. With only 39,520 miles, it is hardly broken in. Congratulations on a good buy.

Yeah, I got really lucky. I also found a couple of silver and white 04-06's in the $16,000-$22,000 range but most were base models or had tan interiors.

A while back the owner of our local Lexus dealership sold his mint condition silver on black 04 for $15,000, but I didn't have the cash at the time. I haven't seen a deal that good in a while.

Thanks for the comment. Car came with all the manuals to include a separate one for the radar cruise control and you are so right; a long, long read but well worth it. Brings me back to my helicopter flying days.

I got my 2005, Silver, 84,000 miles, UL package for $21,000. Excellent condition. I bought her from a Land Rover dealership. I wasn't planning on buying, just went in to look after a day of looking on line. They gave me a great trade in value on my suburban (which I was trying desperately to get out of).

Circumstances may force me to sell my '04 UL Cypress Pearl with 60k miles. I have had it for 2 years and love it! Prices here in bay area are high. See some over $30k. I'll likely list it for $28K. What do you think?

I just bought a 2004 LS ML with 80K on it Black Onyx on Black in almost perfect condition for $17K. Bought it from a dealer, clean car fax, My Lexus had a gap for a few yrs but minimal miles during that time. Blown rear sub too. They are fixing it. I looked for a car for my son last Monday. I gave him my 04 GS and bought this one on Friday in Springfield, MA. I love this car.

Reading this thread made me realize what a great deal I got when I bought mine and how LS 430 holds its value.
In September of 2008, almost 4 years ago, I bought a 2001 silver on black UL with 85k, two owner (last one was Peter Aloumanis, VP of Motorola Corp in FL) with full records, manuals, keys and mint condition. Delivered to me from FL to NY for $16k flat.
