Hi,

are the front wheels supposed to spin freely while parked?

I had a flat tire (right side) and noticed that the brake is slightly rubbing against the disc. I checked the other side (left side) and the wheel was spinning freely.

This morning I took it for a test drive, and now the left side that was spinning freely before now also slightly rubs against the brake. The right side where I used to have the flat is also rubbing against the brake just as before.

The rubbing sound is uneven, so one would almost assume that the discs are warped or is it because the car is jacked at an angel?

Brake fluid was flushed as part of 90k service 13k miles ago.

My experience on the LS is that the pads do drag slightly when spinning the wheel by hand with one side jacked up. The calipers do not have return springs on them so this kind of make sense to me.
As long as the wheel isn't jammed and you don't feel real heavy friction on it in trying to turn it by hand, I think you are OK.

They drag on every car I've owned. They shouldn't drag that much. If you jack up that corner of the vehicle, you should be able to grasp the tire and turn it with your hands. The resistance is not really the pads rubbing so much as the bearing torque spec. On my LX, the torque on a lug nut exceeding about 12-20 lbs should be sufficient to turn the rotor assembly. If' the force required is like 5 lbs, your bearings are probably too loose!
