Default anyone experiencing HID issues after upgrade?

i'm in a bit of a mess...i ordered a pair of hid headlights for my 04 ls430 UL in 35w 12000k d2s. when the first pair came in and i installed it, one of the bulbs went out after 20-30 seconds. so to troubleshoot the issue, i swapped the bulbs from the drivers side to passengers side and vice versa. the same bulb that went out on the passengers side went out on the drivers side after 20-30 seconds so i figured it is a bad bulb.

i sent the bulb back for a replacement and finally got in my replacements. i went back out and installed the bulbs. i am experiencing the same issue. swapped sides and still the same issue. i put my originals back on and it works perfectly. can anyone tell me if they ever experienced this issue with aftermarket bulbs?

by the way, this pair was purchased through www.xenonempire.com. they claim that these bulbs are by "genesis". the color is exactly what i was looking for but it doesn't work. anyone know of a better brand for direct replacement? i already have hid in my car and just need to change out the bulbs (projector bulbs). the bulbs on these just cost me around $30 for the pair.
