Default 2003 rear PS window sounds broken (noise)

Hello, I searched several different words in an attempt to diagnose the problem before posting this question. No luck. Everything seems to be related to wind noise and rolling down the window or cleaning window.

When my rear PS window is rolled down and I use the auto feature to roll up the window, the window makes a noise like it is breaking when it reaches the top. It is an awful sound. If I roll up the window up manually, it does not make the sound at the top. The window rolls up and down smoothly at the same speed as the rest of the windows.

Any suggestions? Window off track? Loos screws holding window?

Try the window calibration process described in this thread and see if it corrects the problem. If not, it sounds like the sensor that detects when the window is fully auto-up is faulty.

Thanks for this suggestion. I will give it a try tomorrow or the next day and then report back.

I rolled up and down the window 8 times not using the auto feature and so far that has fixed the problem I was experiencing. Will report back should it return. Thanks
