Default Creaking noise when turning the steering wheel

Hey guys for about a week now I've been hearing a creaking sound when turning my steering wheel left and right. I cut the car off and on so the wheel would retract and protract to see if I noticed those creaking sounds, but it only happen when driving the vehicle and turning the steering wheel… just wondering if anyone have a idea what it could be or heard of this issue before if so can u plz respond

Grease the U-Joint right above where the steering shaft comes through the floor.

Where is the sound coming from the steering wheel or suspension.

I'm not really good at things like that but what type of grease I need and should the u- joint be by or below the pedal

The sound is coming from the steering wheel, I just really hope it's nothing major because I'm not a DIY type of guy and I know the shop gonna charge

Not an LS, but should be very similar if not the same.

Use white lithium grease, either in a spray can or a tube. The U-Joint is below the brake pedal. If you look under there, you should see it.

i just greased the u joint on my 86 mr2.i used high temp grease.works great.
