Those of Us That Have Installed Aftermarket Subs...
What did you do to mount the sub in the rear deck?
I extended the wireing and connected it and it works. What I am not getting the "full effect" because the sub isnt completly mounted to the deck.
???
I bought the Kicker 10C88 and I have the Mark Levinson system.
Thanks

i had my rear sub removed completely, a custom top center-ish ported box made (port goes up through stock sub location), and installed the new sub & amp in the trunk. sounds 100 times better this way in my opinion cuz the UL trunk is very restrictive in my opinion, but you may not have this issue if not a UL. Plus i finally got the bass sound proper with a cache' sound blending modifying type device which takes in all the signals from the entire ML system and outputs whatever specific dbl range you tell it to put out. This alone caused a dramatic increase in bass quality plus the ported box and now i have a single sub that sounds as fantastic as the rest of the ML system. i think the ML should have had this as an option from the start
