Default Factory OEM Chrome Rims - looking to trade for 17" non-chrome wheels

All,

I currently have the 6 spoke factory chrome rims, but was looking to trade for the 17" non-chrome wheels.

Anyone interested? I checked on my local Craigslist but didn't find anything. Anyone have any suggestions on anywhere else I could do the trade?

I've also posted in the wheels classified section.

Thanks,

Sajjad

Clarification questions:

- Your current wheels are 17", yes?

- Are your looking for alloy or chrome 18" wheels?

ahh one can dream. No one will go for the swap. Alloy 18's are the most sought after wheel. Realizing this I bought the replica 18's from Oe Wheels on ebay. Paid $530 shipped. Quality is good. Weighs the same as oem. Just a bit shinier that oem though. I don't mind it much.

Wonder if I could sell my chrome ones and then use the proceeds to buy those replica ones...they looks nearly identical to the OEM 18s!

I've been inquiring for a good half yr seeing if anyone wanted to swap my OEM 17s for 18s (with some cash on top). The biggest part of the problem is distance. I've spoken to a few members, but they all live hours, if not days away from me. Shipping would be a pain in the butt as your car would be sitting on blocks for a few days. I might end up doing reps if someone pays me good money for the 17s (though, consider the $530 price + decent tires, which are probably around $1k). Good luck with your search.

Check this thread out regarding the replicas. Most are happy with them.
Beats paying 3+ times as much for new oem

Default Factory 18"

I have a set that I took off my LS430 but this is the kicker. They are just alloy, but someone burnt off the shiny finish off of them. They are true and straight but I guess someone did not know how to clean them and used a chemical that took off the finish. Let me know if you are interested. I am in NC

I have factory rims that look like hub caps I'm willing to take the 17's off your hands. Shoot me a message.

Updated my post. Willing to trade for the non-chrome 17" OEM wheels for the 04-06 LS. Gave up my search for 18s .

Yeah, that's a pipe-dream. Although I have 18" 5-spoke OEM chromes, I just bought a set of 18" 5-spoke non-chromes for snow tires. Sewell just lowered the price on their silver 18's so that they're only $10 more than the silver 17's. Got a set of 4 new OEM 18's for around $1700 w/ center caps. List is like $2400.
