That light comes on every 5k mi to remind you to get the car serviced. There's nothing actually wrong with it.

Btw, how do you get the compass to display on the lower center? I can only seem to get the outside temp there.

Fwiw - If you have Nav you don't get the compass.

Thanks for the info. I guess you could figure it out by looking at the screen, but it would be much faster to see it right in front of me. That and I already have outside temp on my center console.

It does seem odd to have two lots of outside temp display on the one dashboard. I've often wondered why that part of the cluster isn't adjustable.

Display 2 only seems to change the size of the vehicle display on my radar nav setting. I've not yet found any other use for that switch.

How do you change the size of the vehicle on the NAv screen? My disp2 only turns the temp on the dash on and off, nothing else.

Reset Maintenance Required Light

1. With your car OFF, place your key in the ignition and turn to ""On"". Do not start the car.

2. Find the odometer button and press until it reads the total odometer setting, (not the Trip A or Trip B setting).

3. Turn the key to OFF.

4. Place your finger back on the odometer button, press and hold. At the same time, turn the key back to ""On"".

5. Hold the odometer button in until the MAINT REQ light goes out...should take about 8-10 seconds.

You can't,you can only change the zoom on the map on the navi screen.

As for the size of the vehicle display on the radar cruise display, that you can change using the disp2 button, but it has no other effect than making the picture bigger or smaller as far as I've seen so far.

Are you referring to the button and display that changes the sensitivity / following distance of the laser / radar adaptive cruise control? If so, that works on may car to allow you more or less cushion between you and the car in front.

lol - I was thinking the same thing. That "size of the car" is the following distance!

I use it so rarely,I haven't checked that. Thinking about it,that makes perfect sense, the 'bigger car' image would be a closer buffer.

I've just learned something,cheers guys!

I use the laser cruise daily as my freeway commute is against the heavier flow of traffic.

Agree. I find the laser cruise is perfect for heavy freeway traffic. I realize that most people would think this was crazy, but it actually is a great help once you get used to it. When I drive a loaner without it, I am nearly lost in driving with a normal cruise.
