Default Tire Size Help!

I just ordered some Work Schwert SC1's for an 05 LS430. Need to know what tire sizes should I order. Below are the specs. From what I hear this is a little aggressive so...I'm expecting some fender rolling/shaving...

(2) WORK Schwert SC1 20x9.5 +25mm R Disk 5x114.3 BP Finish
(2) WORK Schwert SC1 20x10.5 +25mm R Disk 5x114.3 BP Finish

Suggestions needed...Thanks.

the normal size tire for a setup like this would be a 245x35x20 or 245x30x20 and a 265x30x20 or a 255 or 245 depending on how much stretch you want but after dealing with all of these sizes personally on a 10 and a 10.5" rim i would put a 265x30x20 personally and then try to shave the rear fender and slight pull if needed to fit the wheel properly.

how low are you expected to be? what part of MD cuz i wanna see this setup in person when you get the tires and wheels on. where are you getting the fenders shaved/pulled at?

I just put some Wald's on my LS. I apologize I do not know my offsets, but the rims are flush with the body. My fronts are 20x9 with 245/35, they rub slightly but will not once I get my fenders rolled. My rears are 20x10 with 255/35 (i dont like the stretch look, but these stretch a little and it looks good) they also rub slightly and will be fixed once my fenders are rolled.

With 265's you'd probably have to shave your fenders because my 255's barely clear

Thanks for the info...i'll probably have to do some shaving anyway because there 9.5 front and 10.5 rear...and the +25 offset doesn't help either...lol

i had 225/35/20 and 235/35/20 on a 20x9.5 without any problem. BTW you will need to roll or shave your fenders if you're going to go really low

225/35/20

235/35/20

yeah i got 225's on a 9 right now and it is a little stretched.

that was my twin you met at the meet, he is on stock air on his 04 UL but my 05 UL has been switched to coilovers since the air went out. that was leroy and my name is bronson. i will prolly be at elite this sat though for their annual bbq and hope to have my wheels back on by then (long story).

i got an email from chris at elite yesterday asking what the best or most aggressive someone could go on an LS430, so i sent him the info that i had,, i am guessing that is for you that is too funny man. if you will be there on sat we can talk.

So what happened when you had 255 on the 10's? Any issues? I was thinking of going 245/30/20 for the front and 255/30/20 for the rears...

i had a set of 20x10.5 trafficstars before my current 20x10 set of trafficstars and i had 245 on the 10.5 set for a short while with no issues but the stretch was a little too much for my comfort. now i have a 255 on a 10 and the tire is a t1r. i know all tires are different but i swear that this 255x30x20 (toyo t1r) on a 10 almost seems like more of a stretch than a 245x35x20 (nitto 555) on a 10.5 somehow.

my issues were that one of my rear wheels kept leaking from the very first day i had them put on. if you see me with my wheels on sat then i got it fixed. (crossing fingers)...

here's another one 235/35/20 on a 20x10. I understand not everyone's feel comfortable riding on pretty stretch tires but sometime you just have to stretch them to clear if you wanna ride low

^ ^ ^ that reminds me of what my 245 looked like on a 10.5" wide rim. kinda made me paranoid when driving down the highway and hitting pot holes

but your absolutely right about the look when lowered though, gotta pay to play...

What tire sizes did you end up getting?
Looking forward to seeing pics of these on your car.

Finally ended up getting 225/35/20 for the front. (20x9.5 +25) and for the rears I got 245/35/20 (20x10.5 +25). Did a test fit without tires but for some reason the fronts looked like they stuck out more than the rear...weird...but hopefully soon I'll be test fitting again with the tires on. Both of the wheels are R disk so that may have something to do with the weirdness...lol...
