Comparing ride?
Has anyone had a chance to drive LS430's with the following suspensions and how do they compare:
1. Standard
2. Air Suspension = Ultra Pkg
3. Sport Package
I currently drive a 2000 LS400 and I'm trying to decide which of the three I would like. Any input / insight is much appreciated.

You may also want to have folks comment on the difference between 17" and 18" wheels with the standard or air suspension.
I drove the standard and sport suspensions nearly back-to-back one morning. The problem was that it was a cold morning and the car with sport suspension had rock hard tires that probably skewed me away from seriously considering it. I felt the standard suspension with 18" wheels provided the level of ride I expected. I later replaced the stock sway bar with the sway bar from the sport suspension package.

I have an 01 LS430 ULPCS (125+K) with air (and an 07 LS460). Nothing rides smoother than the 430, not even the 460, BUT I will not recommend this to anyone with the amount of money you will have to shell out when one corner or pump goes.
I cant vouch for the standard or sport package tho..never driven one. I will say however, I installed the upgraded sway bar in my car this past weekend, well worth the $.
Im sure (most) of you with the air setup will agree

it is going to depend on your taste (so to speak) also. i have driven them all, ultras are definitely cushy and smooth. normal ls430s also ride very nice. i currently own a sport suspension and for my personal preference this is where i would like to stay. it is in no way overly firm, but if you are looking for that driving a couch feeling then get the air suspension
