Lexus ls 430 04

Any one knows how I can find out LEXUS LS430 is 5 speed or 6 speed. I called dealer and I am getting mix message some says 5speed and some says 6speed. Response will be appreciated.

2004 is 6 speed.

Definitely 6 speed. That new transmission was introduced with the 2004 model.

As everyone already stated:

2001-2003 5-speed, 2004-2006 6-speed

If in doubt, shift your trans in manual mode and up shift. If it goes into 6 gear, chances are you have a 6-speed.
