Default tail lamp help!

Howzit everybody this is my first time posting on this forum. Anyways i just picked up a 01 ls430 ul and the first thing i did was change the tail lamps to the fabulous ones. After swapping the lamps i had a tailamp failure message. I replaced the bulbs and the message went away but the bulbs still dont work.
The drivers side lamp works but the middle blinker light dosent. On the passenger side, the middle light works and the other two bulbs dont. Checked the tail lamp fuses and there fine does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance guys.

It sounds like you need some additional parts like a load resistor. Since LEDs use less electricity than a normal bulb the sensor gets "confused" and thinks the bulb is burnt out. I had a similar problem when I converted the tail lights on an Aurora. Check out this link, it should help:

I have the same taillights. It was the 1st thing I changed also. The orange strip makes the car look so dated! I didn't want LED since I've heard so many problems with it triggering the warning light

I would un install the taillights and unscrew the bulbs leaving them attached to the wire harness. The turn on your headlights and see which bulb is out. You could also remove all the bulbs and clean up the metal contact where the bulbs go into and spray some di electric grease on them.

Thanks for the tip but already tried cleaning the connections. It really weird because the light that dont work with the headlights on, work when the car is locked and unlocked. Any other thoughts?
