I HAVE A 02 LS 430 AND I AM HAVING ISSUES WITH A SMALL LEAK IN MY EVAP SYSTEM. I DID A SMOKE TEST AND FOUND OUT WHERE THE LEAK IS BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT THIS PART WOULD BE CALLED.. IT IS LOCATED DIRECTLY BEHIND ENGINE AND IS IN THE CENTER.. I AM TRYING TO FIX IT MYSELF..ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

That is the top part of the ACIS actuator. There's more down further - your photo is the connection arm ot the intake manifold internal butterfly valves. And under the intake manifold is a vacuum tank and vacuum swithcing valve. This is not part of the evap system however it is part of the engine vacuum system so a leak here can cause idle issues.
What evap issues are you chasing?
Here's a video of the back of the engine.
Kelvin from this channel also shows, on some other of his videos, how to remove the intake manifold to replace the parts underneath. I've had to do the same repair on my 430 because the vacuum valve underneath is a common point of failure where the engine lacks a little power down low and the actuator does move when commanded and change the internal butterflys inside the manifold. He's bit of 1UZ and 3UZ whizz.
