i have taken apart the dashboard and the lights all have a green rubber "condom" on top of them. it could be that they have removed that or maybe its a custom led job? anyways im interested to know. i have a couple dashlights burnt out and could use an afternoon project.

if you remove the green filter it will make all the accessories orange,
if you add one blue filter it will make everything white,
if you use a blue bulb with blue filter you will get a very nice blue color,
if you use clear bulb with 2 blue filters you will get a darker blue but it will not be as bright.

Hope that helps. I have done this for many cars.

I'm surprised a bulb controls the color of the LCD clock display too. I guess it's possible... would be an interesting MOD, but I personally like the freaky green look...

The Japanese (Asian market actually in general) always keep the better electronics to themselves... 3G networks (now 4G) was in Asia about five years ago, way before we even heard about it here in U.S. Sorry folks, but U.S. in electronic gadgetry is FARRRRR behind other countries.... sad...

So we have no possible way of getting a 3D Nav for our cars? Also i do like the white look to the dash lights. Giving that a long thought.

A bit OT but Blue light is not good for driving, they can cause eye fatigue, eye strain, and glare.
