man I drive a 3gs right now and I think my next car will an LS460. I love the look when they are dropped. I like tripping old people out at stop lights and gas stations by cruising a 50k lexus thats dropped. They always stare

I am 43 and this is my first Lexus. Own Toyota Landcruisers ('71, '89(sold) and '99) and a MB E430. By far the LS430 is the most comfortable. I love the room, the ride, and the options I have in modifying it.

What's the avg LS430 Owner's Age?
Just for fun, i know a lot of people say a LS430 are for the older crowd. I want to see how old people really are that are owning a LS?

The question depends on if you're talking the original owner/leaser of the vehicle or the subsequent owner thereforth. The original owner's average age is like 53 or something, while I'm sure the 2nd owner and so forth is probably 30.
I got mine at 37, so mid ground...

I bought mine used, mostly because I'm too cheap to buy a luxury car new and take that huge depreciation hit. I'm 54 in June this year. Most of the folks that drive LS430s in my area are 45+ it seems to me. I think buying an LS is an intelligence test of sorts - there are several flashier cars in the same price range but the LS is the highest quality and reliability - when a person finally gets smart enough to spend their money on quality, they tend to end up driving an LS. And it takes a certain age in life to learn that lesson, and also have the money to execute on it.

I have to ask you guys in your 20-30s who buy and drive an LS - tell us what works for you about this car.
What about the car makes you buy it despite the older driver image?

This subject has been brought up a couple of times.
I would guess that the average owner is in their 40's-50's. I am 27 and there are quite a few young people who own 430's.
Jabberwock - I bought my car from my boss for a pretty good deal. I sold my same year F-150 Supercrew and only had a difference of a couple of grand. One of the reasons I did was because I knew of the dependability of Lexus and that it would run good well over 200,000 miles with proper maintenance. My Ford would not. An LS430 is obviously a status symbol and super nice car. If I would have chosen the car myself, I don't think I would have chosen a LS430 but I am glad that is what I drive. My next car will be sportier though.
