I have the SL2x in my 2002 UL. Couldn't get this to work. Will this setting not work with my unit? Sick of having to hit that damn agree button.

Yeaaaaah boy, and it's amazing. My wife also loves it.
She thinks I'm crazy now because I postponed this mod for so long, that even the bodykit happened before this.

My opinion of it is: Basically if you are by any means an Audiophile, and you don't have this. You're missing out.

I'm brainstorming a couple of ideas actually and haven't yet decided.
For now I just have the cable coming out from the side of the panel between the carpet and the panel's edge.


1-It's either I'll install a USB mount next to the POWER/ETC button.
2- delete the cigarette lighter like your mod.
3- retrofit the Apple iPhone holder instead of the ashtray.

we'll see.

I set up my MML years ago in my original 2004 white 430 and moved it to the silver 430 I purchased 4 years ago. So, I had forgotten how to do this. I bought a SL3b-L for bluetooth unit and installed it in the new 430 tonight. One thing that could be more clear (or maybe I'm just stupid) is that the "SCAN" button should say the "SCAN" button on the screen. I was pushing the "SCAN" button on the front of the head unit like a madman and never could get the long beep to happen.

When I bought it I thought that the "nag screen" was a bother. But I drive it everyday and I dont even notice that I do it, its a reflex action now.
