Default LS430 headliners...

I know the CL and UL have the suede but I am not convinced the others don't. It is definitely different than the headliner in my ES 330.... any comments? Am I crazy?

Caddy... if you read this I know you will slap me for asking

I friend on mine has the base model LS430... no Nav, no Mark, just basic. He has a Suede headliner, as do I. Of course mine is the CL.

only CL and UL came with factory suede. Now, there might have been some out there that upgraded the interior themselves by getting the suede headliners, that's possible.

ditto, if a different package other than CL or UL has suede maybe it's custom made like this guy..

Okay you suede people...we need pics. Maybe you guys think the regular headliner is "suede-ish"...

My first impression of the suede headliner was that it looked like long rat fur. I still don't think it's a big deal.

My 04 Premium has a high quality cloth headliner which works for me as my head sometimes touches it when I get in or out the wrong way (I'm 6'5"). I actually would prefer this as I would hate to try to get out stains from suede.

Its pretty easy to tell if its suede. Basically if it feels kinds thickish its suede. The other kind of headliner is synthetic and you can feel it, kinda like microfiber it will grab on to your fingers to an extent.

I'm pretty sure that's the same headliner I have and I don't believe it's suede. Just a soft enough synthetic of some kind to make you think it could be something ultrasuede-ish... Kind of like a polyester fleece?
