Default ATTN:Lowriders/People who drive LOW!

So who here drives low in their LS430?here's some pics of my daily ride height.a little reminder,im rolling on 19" wheels.

i would like to drive lower but i cant.its because the front upper control arms keep hiting the inside of the fender wells.i've had this same problem with my GS300 before, but i didnt expect the LS430 to have the same problem because i have never heard anyone complaining about it.heres a visiual of where it hits.

so if anyone else has the same problem i do,did you do anything about it?cut a hole in the fender well?lets see it!

yeah i was wondering if you did the ss kit as well?? i am thinking of doing this next but now i may need to drop some dough on headlight sensors first so yeah... but yeah i would think aftermarket control arms would do you good, but i know that these can easily be 1k$ and more.

if you were asking me, I do not have the SS kit on my car. I'm pretty happy w/ the factory air set-up now........

Aftermarket control arms will do nothing for the banging,if your talking about camber then yeah do them, since your not talking about camber then you don't need them.

i ride super low on stock 17's with no banging of the control arms my coilovers are set firm (23clicks out of 30) with 100psi front & 55 rear with not one single bang, the ride is nice & tight not soft but not hard....you have to do trial & error runs with the coilover height, dampening & air pressure once you set that right i'm sure you won't be banging any more.

im not sure, but they should be 35%.it looks dark because of the window shades, and possibly the angle of the photo.

on my setup,i run 90psi in front and 50-55psi rear.the front struts are set at 12 clicks from soft out of 32,and the rear is fully soft.i like to get a smooth ride as possible.but it still isnt as smooth as i wanted it to be.

^^Biggz that's the problem right there you have to stiffen up the damper^^
in a perfect world we can ride 1/2 inch off the ground & have a factory ride but the world is not perfect...you have to give, sacrifice the cushy ride for height,i know it suxs but that's the truth.
