I've got a reply from them. As I suspected, DataSystem will not provide information on the wires but they offer to repair them. They also do not recommend using the harness if few wires are not hooked up for obvious reasons (liability).

If you still need the info, I'll try to look at my controller over the weekend if I will not fly out of town.

if it wouldnt be to much of a hassle for you to look at your harness i would appreciate it. if not who can i contact for a new harness? thanks

i was looking through some other threads and was wondering how to tell if i have the correct harness. there are some numbers on the harness but none from this link

is the harness for the 04+ visibly different? on the harness there are 2 numbers and japanese characters. the serial # is 1810631, that comes from the datasystem sticker. the other # is 08745121, that is stamped in ink.
