what do you guys think about these 19" MRR HR2's?
wheel & tire sizes are F 19 8.5 245/35/19 general exclaim uhp (tires) offsets 38
R 19 9.5 275/30/19 general exclaim uhp (tires) offsets 43
originally i was pretty much sold on user stackwells 20" chrome versions but he has since not responded to me in over a week when we had agreed that i would be the buyer. now i'm looking at these 19" polished versions (in the pic) but don't know if i should hold out for something better or not. the price is very friendly btw.
what do you guys think these would look like on an 05 ls430 UL and how do you think they would compare ride wise to the stock 17's which according to the tire calculator are about .5 inches taller than these 19's on tires??
criticisms welcomed

yeah its pretty much the same price for new ones (from group buy section) but with tires about 80-85% tread left, (although i've never heard of the tire brand before, not sure if that means they are cheapos or not).

yeah, something about these particular wheels. they look good to me on some applications at certain angles but don't look to good to me at other angles. like looking straight on in the pic at the top they look good but from an angle or the side they don't look that great to me.

I am running 245-30 in the rear and 225-35's in the front and no rubbing issues and basically my car is slammed.
The set of wheels I refinished were with the 245's in the front and 275 in the rear and looked big IMO on those wheels.
I love the way they look and recommend the brand highly just get the tire combo that fits you right and you're good to go.

The LS is a very conservative looking car. A Wheel like the H2R would definitely keep the car pretty conservative, especially a 19". So I could see why someone would want a wheel like this if they intended on keeping it clean and simple, which isn't a bad thing. If I had 20's on my car with an aggressive lip, I would be tempted to buy more for it (Body kit, spoiler, airbags, the whole deal) So I'll just keep my 18's or I might pick up this set if Sojah doesn't. This is my highway car, so I'm scared to damage a pair of nice 20's.

^ ^ ^ yeah well i sorta feel the same ^ ^ ^. this is my dd car and i drive it about 50 miles a day straight highway and love my cushy feel of my fat tires on the stock 17's. i know you gotta pay to play and i'm no rookie to the rim game (had some 20" chrome lowenharts on rubber band tires on previous gs) but i want to find some wheels that will not give up all of the ride quality in exchange to looking pretty.
my aim is something that looks better than stock, about 19" (preferably a slightly meatier tire than the wheels in question), not to flashy, and something that will still offer a smooth ride.
these wheels are a little small though, when standing next to my stocks the hhr's will be 1/2 inch smaller in height not to mention the low pro-ish rear tires. but a lot of people say that a 19" on 275/30's will ride a lot better than a 20" on 275/30's, i wish the rears were like 265/40's
