lowered LS430 got messed up
I recently changed out my tanabe springs for megans coilover so my car would sit lower. I also threw on 15mm and 25mm spacers. I had some rubber issues, but it was never that big of a deal. Yesterday, I had 5 people in my car and look what happened after I made a right into a parking lot. I never thought with stock wheels this could happen.

doesn't look like that bad of a fix but yeah that does suck ***. i just used the tire calculator this morning and came up with this: my stock tire size is 225/55/17 Overall Diameter: 26.74 in 679.19 mm
looking at a set of 20's tire size is: 245/35/20 Overall Diameter: 26.75 in 679.45 mm
so pretty much this 20" inch wheel & tire combo is less than 1 half of 1 mm (or like the height of your credit card) taller than my stock wheel & tire 17" combo.
so basically the height would be the same but the width would be a little larger on the 20" obviously but when your turning sharply dropped that low with a lot of weight in the car its about the same as having a 20" rim on a low pro tire.

yep, that happens all the time if the front are not rolled all the way. turn into a driveway, spring/shock compresses, tire tread catches the iner-fender, and rips out the metal like that.
use a heatgun to warm up the metal and pound it in with a small 2x4.

Lowering is nice, but one back bump or bad turn and that's what you get. This is sort of my one big fear that makes me NOT want to lower my car. I bottom out with my Integra enough and it's not lowered, don't need my luxo cruiser doing this.

Did you roll the fenders before lowering and spacers?
No, I didn't which was a huge mistake. I just got my front fenders fixed and rolled. I also removed the 15mm front spacers to the rear and took out the 25mm spacers in the rear.
