Waving to other LS drivers?

LOL Well, I'm not in the business of finding jobs for other people who are looking to relocate, nevertheless your success would depend upon what you have to offer for those $. Northern Florida where I live (and Florida in general) isn't the best place to be looking for employment right now, but I'd recommend looking in the Greenville/Spartanburg SC area, and maybe Charlotte NC area, etc. The Greenville area and the NC/SC area in general has a lot to offer, and the economy doesn't seem to be suffering too badly based upon what I hear from friends and business relationships. And you might not need $90K if you haven't already allow for the cost of living difference between NY and some areas in the south. Anyway, good luck if you are really looking for a change.

Only car enthusiasts wave to each other.
Most LS driver are not car enthusiast, so no, I don't wave because they would think I am weird for waving at them.
When I drive my WRX STi or my old Nissan GTR, I wave to all WRX and GTR drivers on the road because they all wave at me.

i sort of wonder about this as well ^ ^, i mean i don't have flashy rims and a body kit but the tint, chrome exhaust tips, and the fact i ride around pretty low most of the time does get a few strange looks from other ls drivers at times, almost like i'm not in an ls myself mehhh..

As a former Vette owner (C5 & C3), I used to wave at other vettes. I'd wave at other Allantes when driving, but with only 21K Allantes ever made, there aren't many on the road. I don't wave when in my other vehicles.

It's the strange human brain. When I was in market for the GS350, I'd spot every single one that went by and didn't really see the LS430. Now that I have a 430, I'd spot them behind me, parked, in front of me... every one that is within eye distance.

In my experience, LS 430 drivers that pass by are more the professional, focused type. Serious in demeanor. We pass by in 'royal solitude.'
But saying hello when next-door neighbors both drive by in their LS 430's? Yes.

I always watch the drivers when I see another LS 430, and I'll nod to every one that looks at me. I'd say I've probably had 1-2 people nod back in the 3-4 years with the LS. I've done that with pretty much every car I owned, and I'd say it's pretty rare that people nod back. If you're passionate about your car, you'll be looking for other people driving your car. And the nod isn't really a nod of "hey, let's be friends", it's acknowledging that yeah, I was looking too. Chances are, if they don't look at me, and they don't nod back even if they do, they're not passionate about their car, and there was no connection anyhow.

i've noticed an abundant amount of slammed vw's riding around between my work and home lately (by abundant i mean like 4) and we occasionally give each other the nod. as well as this nice *** rimmed up and lowered debadged porsche (looks like a carerra 4) i guess i am in the rim and lowered nod category now ???
