recomended tire pressure on 18' sport wheels
I have a sport edition with the 18' wheels with bridgestone turanzas 245/45/r18. What pressure do you other euro tuned suspension owners pump your tires up to?
has anybody put higher profile tires on the 18' wheels? Will they fit?
My tire pressure light seems to come at the slightest bump. I'm wondering if the tires are over inflated, or there is a problem with the abs module. I read on this board that if your tire pressure light is always comming on, and if your tires are not losing air, you may have a abs sensor problem. I read that there is a tsb on the issue, and some of the guys have taken their car for warranty repairs. Quite expensive part I hear.
Chime in on your tire pressure light issues.
thanks

What pressure are you put in your tires now? Have you initialize the sensor after every time you adjust the pressure, rolate the tire, or change tires?
On the side of the driver door, there is a sticker that tell you the recommend tire pressure for your car, 33 psi. If you like, add a few psi to it from 35 psi to 37 psi. Remember to check the pressure every two weeks or every other gas fill up.

Thank you VQT. I have 35psi now. I recently bought a new tire from the dealer, and they inflated it up to 41psi. Since then I have been having problems with the tire pressure warning light. I lowered the pressure yesterday to 35 psi and reset the system. So far I have not had the light come on again. I will check the sticker on the door. I know most LS430 owners ride on 33-35psi on their 17" wheels. I was just wondering what the 18" wheel owners were using.
thanks
