Hey guys, been lurking for a while on here. A few pics from a recent road trip in New Zealand of my 2004 UCF31 Celsior, C/F interior spec. Still sorting a few bits out. Imported this car in from Japan about 8 months ago

I have a newb questions about the 430's interior. I didn't follow these cars until I started looking to buy one. I was attracted by the reliability and performance, but the looks are starting to grow on me now that I own one. I really like the saddle colored interiors and every time they show up in pictures (see post #1872), people say they are rare, but everyone seems to love them. So, why are they so rare? Could Lexus not meet the demand?

My golden nugget
This is my new to me 2004 LS430. I picked it up from a dealer in Plano Texas.
She had just under 47,000 miles on her when I got her.
Carfax says it was originally a lease vehicle from Nevada.
Runs like a champ and looks new all over.
So far the only problems are that after about three weeks of ownership the wonderful ML sound system took a dump.
One day while sitting at a stoplight, with the radio on low volume I heard a loud pop. And since then, no radio sound.
No more beeps to be heard when I'd push a button on the dash or an icon on the nav. unit.
So far the cheapest fix I can find is an eBay ad from New York that'll fix it for $475.
For now I have a Lexus with a Bose sound system. My Bose Soundlink bluetooth speaker.
I currently have 52,000 miles on the odo. and I'm still loving life with my Golden Nugget.

Here is some Before and After (But not finished yet)
This was my Dads car. He bought both of these (the SC is Mom's)
It's a 2003 UL with all bells and whistles,,, but it needed some upgrades...
I replaced the Air Suspension myself with the BC Racing adjustable coilovers, put a little more aggressive rim and tire combo on it and lowered it,,, blacked out headlights
I have a couple of other upgrades to do but this is where I am at right now...

Hey I'm new to the forums, but have been a long time car enthusiast. Just purchased this 2004 with 70k miles back in April, and so far I have done the tint and wheels. Keeping it simple and clean as its my DD...
