Are you inquring about the 1994 LS400 or the LS430? I don't know of any way to reset the "brake warning" except to change the sensor. Perhaps it's a defective sensor or something else wrong.

There is the "maintenance" reminder that you can set through the NAV system, maybe that brake service setting is up. If so, you can shut that off or reset it.

I did my brakes and as others have said they are simple. I need to repair my brake sensors now, glad to have this forum to help with this work.

I burnt the cake. My landscaper offered to replace the pads and I took the offer, however we have a mess after 4 hours - Please HELP
He removed the wheel and everything else, I mean the metal piece that holds the brake pads. The old pads are off, however he could not install the new pads, since the pistons won't move back. He drained the brake fluid, however the piston still won't move back. We did not have the C -Clamp, however bought two clamps, one for each piston and still struggling. What are we missing?

Awesome step by step and pictures. I just did my pads and shims in an hour and 45 minutes. Not bad for a guy ver NO mechanical background. Thanks lex2001. I just saved about $600 based on the dealer quote.

Any labor price over a $100 to change the fronts or rear brake disc pads is overpaying.

I don't even bother with resurfacing the rotors as it cost $20 per rotor to resurface where I'm from and I can buy a new one for about $30 and free shipping on Amazon.

I usually buy the Wagner Thermoquiet ceramic brake pads and if I can get the rebate I can buy them for $20 a set.
