Very, very nice!!!

Thanks for the pics, and the car looks very good... Why even bother with the data controller... if you wanna ride stock, you can just press set the height to HIGH.

Default What about alignment?

Thanks everybody; this is good stuff.

What about alignment? I've always heard alignment varies with height; ie caster and toe need to be set at ride height to be just right.

Wouldn't I need to re-align at the new ride height?
I'm definitely going to adjust mine; the front has always looked too high ('04 UL).

I washed it and drove it for a while, and it settled about 1/4-1/2". Definitely feels lower from the drivers seat.
I noticed the camber changed very slightly, but I needed to get an alignment anyway.

Here is a file Nauticalx sent me about the adjustment:

This is for his 2002, should apply to all other years.

Also, do you extend the length of the rod? or shorten it to lower the car?
And for the rear, where was the rear bolt before you moved it? dead center?

THanks.

On my set-up, Ted from Dynamic Auto shortened the threaded rod and re-threaded it to lower the front. The rears were in the middle and now they are all the way down.

my rears were in the middle too, I lowered them all the way. I think I'm going to have to shorten the front rods and get them rethreaded also. I can lower the drivers front more but the passenger side is bottomed out on the rod, I can't adjust it any lower.

Anyone know of a shop in Phoenix that has done this sort of work before?

actually, it wouldnt be too hard to just have two shorter front rods made, threaded, and then just swap them out. We already know that the 10mm nut fits over the rod ends. Does anyone know the specs of the adjustment rods, especially you guys that had it done at that Dynamic place in CA?

Just need to know appropriate length and thread pitch.

jpcdmd, thanks for posting details and pics

Have you guys who have lowered the car using this method noticed any changes in ride quality or handling at all?

At the lowest setting with 19's on my car..the ride is definitely stiffer and bouncier..i raise it up just a tad below Stock to get a somewhat smoother ride.

Mike

did you use this to lower your car even more with the data controller, or is this just a method used, so that you dont have to purchase a datasystem controller?
