How many miles do YOU have on your LS430? (The Mother thread)

Mine used to do this too. There's a gel pad that goes bad they just replace. I think it was fairly cheap.
The other issue could be they didn't reset the actual sensor to the new windshield. In either scenario you should get it fixed and they should pay for it since you are missing functionality that previously worked.

My windshield was replaced with non-OEM glass as 99.99% are, and really, it was not a big deal to have a new gel pack put in. Very cheap as I recall. It works perfectly now.

Got 79K miles on my 04 ML.
Car runs great, but i feel the driverside window starting to become weak.
I searched and couldn't find any thing on the forums about window motor issues.
Can anyone chime in?
Thanks!

PGW glass. (Pittsburgh Glass Works) works. I had to replace a piece of that Chinese XYG glass (XingYang Province). It's not so much that the glass is cheap, it's just that the refraction index is different, and the rain sensor will never work with it. PGW glass, by the way is not expensive, should be around 200.00 for the windshield.

02' UL.. 190,000 and still running strong. Just put a new set of Primacy's on her and hope to get at least another 50K-60K out of her. I drive a ton for work and this car is a dream. Little things are starting to go now. Hood Latch is sticking, my white leather seats are getting beat up by the kids (trying to keep em as clean as possible). Paint on the rims has started to peel off. One thing (knock on wood) is that I have had no issues with the air suspension yet.
