Question ls430 coilovers

Anyone knows of any other companies that offers coilovers for the 01-up LS430 besides Teins or Toms?

JIC offers a set for the LS430. I like some of the features better then Teins, but I'm afraid that it would be loud. Not sure though...

what model JIC is that. I called around and everyone said JIC doesn't offer one. you know the model on that? Teins don't have any until 4 months.

The model is FLT-A2, if I recall correctly. http://www.jic-magic.com/productsjic_susp_flta2.htm The website doesn't list a fitment for the LS430, but I spoke with the JIC people at SEMA and they showed me the model (on display at the show) and claimed to have a fitment for the LS430, so perhaps the site hasn't been updated. I can't recall if I kept the guy's business card or not (after I decided to wait on the Teins), but I'll check and see. If I don't have it, just call the US JIC office and ask about the fitment.

EDIT: DOH! I was editing this to add the URL and model (between business phone calls) while Bercasio was posting the same info. Anywho..... there you have it -- coming soon to a dealer near you.

It's the JIC FLT-A2 VIP, they should be coming to U.S. relatively soon for the LS430, as it 's in the Japnese market...

Well, many of the HP aftermarket kits tend to make some noise during operation, even if they are properly installed and set up as well as can be. I've heard of some that make fluid-movement or air-movement sounds from the shock itself, and then a lot of them make noise from the mounts. Pillow-ball type mounts seem to be especially prone to noise, and it's my understanding that the JICs use pillow-ball mounts. Pillow-ball mounts are better for ultimate performance applications, but not for quietness and ride quality. One of the changes to the '06 Tein CS is "reportedly" to quieten them as much as possible. That's one of the main reasons I'm waiting on the new Teins.

I think I know where there are some Tein CS kits available for the LS430. Let me know if you need one and I'll confirm.

Yes. The kits were on backorder for the past couple months, then they sent me a message a couple days ago that the CS kits have arrived.

The air controller can only be used on the relatively few cars that have air suspension (only on Ultra Luxury models).
