mirrors!
I had this problem, just spraayed wd-40 in between the area were it folds. They get rusted from the rain and other moisture and can make them not move. My dealer said I should have brung it in, they would have fixed it for free. Get the the dealer to take a look at it just to be safe! GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!

Powered Mirrors
My passenger side mirror started to fold back toward the front of the car instead of stopping in the center position. The dealer replaced it under warranty. I saw the warranty charge was around $750.

Fixing Power Mirrors
Hope lubricating the swivel point fixes the problem. I just had my driver's side mirror replaced. It was $676 plus labor. I didn't have any problems with the mirror tilting in or out. My problem was that the mirror worked fine when the adjustment switch on the dash was set to the passenger's side. However, when the adjustment switch was set to the driver's side the mirror would not adjust or tilt down when the car was placed in reverse. I thought the problem was going to be the adjustment switch on the dash. However, it turned out that the mirror needed to be replaced. The new mirror is functioning correctly with the adjustment switch in either the driver's or passenger's side.
