Default Get rid of Taillamp failure message

Is there any way to override it so it doesn't show (dealer maybe) I have 2004-05 LEd taillight wired successfully onto my 2001. Since Led draw little power I get a failure message. I have extra bulbs wired in so the message doesn't show up for now. I heard a load resistor works or an electronic relay works? I found load resistors for a cheap price.

Any help is appreciated

I don't know the answer to your question but would like some pics of your car and the LED lights. How did you do it and how much???

You need to adjust the lighting module in the trunk I believe. A GS owner did a write up on it soemtime ago in the lighting fourm.

See my past posts on this. It is not difficult at all to wire up. Just match up the wires. The flasher bulb is not led. I wire up some load resistors to simulate the wattage but it did not work since it drew too much power. The brake lights did work but the top light that lights up when you turn on the headlights didn't.
So far the only way to override the message is to keep 2 "dummy bulbs" running off the new lights. I found some blue colored heat resistant gelcap bulb covers (Pepboys or Autozone) for those 2 lights to stop the bulbs from burning anything and dim it down.

I will post pics eventually. Most likely after I get my Black chrome Euro grill that is on back order. Overrall I am happy with the look. The clear line on the outer taillight is just a 1/4 inch higher than the one on the trunk, but it looks fine to me since the trunk strip is a orange white color, so having it lower looks normal.
