Default LS 430 looks to old for a 26yrs girl?

Wife and I are looking forward for a possible new purchase at the end of the year. Her parents don't like the idea of the SC430 that we have been talking about. Do you guys think the LS430 is too big (my wife is tiny, she is about 95lb and about 5'4") and looks too old for her?

Nothing wrong with a woman in her mid twenties driving a 430, the only thing people are going to wonder is if she's married to a big CEO or something

Mark-

Not at all. Granted if she's used to a smaller car, it will take some getting used to but nothing that a bit of driving won't solve. As for "looking to old"...IMO, I think it's to see a youngish person driving a refined car. To me that says style and not concerned with what the masses have stereo-typed.

If it sems too vanilla...I think you can solve that for her...20's, Tein CS, Wald...
What did she think of Atsou's car?

Mike, you can bet on those aftermarket parts for sure which means I also need to purchase a spare wheel because she will curb rash it for sure. She did not see Eric's car in person but I showed her the pictures and she like the way it looks... I think I need to take her in to the dealer so she can appreciate the luxury unlike MB.....

My Mrs. loved the ride in the '04 ML. After Taste of Lexus and driving the others...that solidified her choice for an LS as the next car. Take her for a ride and let her bask in the feel of the LS...

The LS is a very nice car. I am 36 and I think it's too big/old looking for me. In fact I look like I am driving my father's car. I wish I bought a more sporty looking car. But you guys should buy what you enjoy driving.

The LS is a terrific car for a person of any age... well maybe not those 90 yr olds that go 10 below the limit.

Mark, unless they are paying for the car, why should this be a overriding decision maker? If you guys like the SC, why not get the SC? I love my parents to death and never disregard their opinion, but when it comes down to it, I live with my decisions and its consequences. Just giving a little push for you to get what YOU want.

I'm 26 & I don't think the LS430 makes me look old, especially the VIP style tuning is getting more popular. I thought about GS430 before I bought my LS430 but the luxury and the drive feel much better than the GS.
I was stuck in traffic this morning & all eyes were on me

and the best part, she's 5' and 86lb, but she has no problem driving big cars though coz' she's so used to it

i still have a LONG way to go haha

I got my first LS at 29 and that was only because it didn't exist before that. Drove a Lincoln Town Car at 25.

Thanks for the input guys... I don't mind driving a LS430 myself, but I think my wife is not completed sold and convincing about the LS. We are heading to the dealer this weekend for service on my car, I guess I will have to show her what's up!!

Neo: hahaha... I guess you are partially correct. My wife's parents is considerring to paritally sponosor us on this new purchase. Reason? I don't know, but for sure... they are super nice to me...

Eric: don't tempt me!!

They can partially sponsor me. I'll buy the LS instead of the SC.
