I kept thinking the rotors were the same size for some reason. Dooh! A brake swap from 1'st to 2'nd would also requrie a mounting plate. What ype of calipers are on the 1'st gen, are they 4 pots?

Pots do you mean pistons...........2nd calipers are a 4 piston ....1st are 2 piston. As for installing 2nd onto a 1st I don't think you can simply make a bracket.............I think that a complete spindle swap is the way to go but I have not looked into that yet,and I maybe will never , becauseI have a 2nd LS.

The pics. were taken just to show how different the brakes are.

I'm still thinking McPhearson as most my research for my Celica has me in that mode. If compatible, you are right, a complete spindle swap would be easier.

Did you get together with Persian for the spring install?

Yea we got together and did basically a complete job on the brakes and suspension..

replaced insulators, mounts, springs (eibach), rotors (cross-drilled and slotter), and pads.
