'95 LS400 238,000 miles
Replaced:
Engine mounts
SRB's
Timing Belt
Water pump
Alternator
Sound system (only to upgrade) everything still works fine and LCD screens are visible
Radiator hose
After replacing mounts, car drives like new! Still can hit 150 mph

My old faith full has 343,000 Miles. Got a few door dings on her, replaced the leather interior. Suspension is due for an update though other than that she still runs like a dream!!......Love the car

seems like the earlier models can go a long way...a real long way, basic maintenance aside, but recently I have been seeing in my area a lot of good 98-00's in top shape for sale with less than 130 -170 on the clock, why not keep a great car for another 10 years as opposed to selling? These cars are the LS pinnacle right?

just saw this thread and had to let everyone
I purchased my first LS400 about 4 months ago with 302k and at first I thought my husband might just be insane!! well I have fallen in love with it and don't want to drive anything else. Smoothest most comfortable car I have ever driven. I've had a Camry, Honda pilot, dodge durango w/5.7, Acura MDX, Buick Regal, and this beats all. Proud to say it doesn't leak a drop of oil, Shifts perfectly with regular maintenance. Only thing that happens is the mph needle gets stuck on 0. My power seat belt adjuster sometimes doesn't work. Just replaced driver side rear cv axle after realizing that was causing a vibration when accelerating. I can't believe this car is almost as old as me and is so nice!
