has anyone ever tried to get a group buy together for carbon fiber hoods? how many people would be interested in carbon fiber hoods for 1990-1994 ?

I don't think carbon fiber hoods are available for LS's. They would have to be custom fabricated and wouldn't be worth the wads of cash people would have to dish out. On top of that, I just don't think it would look right on an LS, but that's just my opinion.

Custom work would cost too much. I'll tell it to you right now. Probably close to the price your car retails at.

I think a Carbon Fiber hood on a Black LS would look ok. I agree and dont think its worth it to have a custom one.

I think it would look nice on a dark color car......... For some it might be to expensive & for others its a must have and will pay the big $$$$.

Thats what makes modding a car fun it what the owner likes.......... Go for it.

Well, I have seen it once on one of the Japanese cars and I know that the guy here in US made himself a custom one. I am currently researching everything but its too early to share what I know.

Only Lex that should have a carbon fiber hood is an IS. Please guys, don't do these to your luxurious rides... The IS300 is a sporty car and that justifies a carbon fiber hood....
