Hardwired radar detector in LS430?

Has anyone hard wired a radar detector in a 430 ? Or is that something you have the dealer do?

I have the K40 Radar System hardwired in my SC400, though I am not sure if this helps you any. It was done by the dealer, but not during my ownership.
