clicking/popping sounds
I get this noticable clicking/popping sounds when the brakes are pressed and the car is turning in the process.. it comes from the front section of the car.. could it be a bad axle or just brakes?

It's the Calipers making that noise
I had the same problem on my 98 LS400
Once I took to get serviced at the dealer - they gave me a copy of a bulletin for the "known clicking" notice that comes when you turn at slow speeds for most Models and Years from 1998-2001
You have to get the "Grease Points" lubed on the Calipers I believe. You might want to get this checked when you are getting you car serviced for other things.
If you want to get these point lubed individually, I can cost you a pretty penny.

Not too sure what points...
I have that document in my Serivice Car Records. I don't have that with me right now. But there can only be so many points you can lube on Brake Calipers right?
I think they are 2 points on each caliper that would need to be lubed.
