should i consider a corolla ?
Guys,
I know it's not a tech question but being an LS400 owner, I need to get a second car and wanted to get your opinion. I'm looking into getting a 2004 corolla S-type. the looks are fine. but it's the reliability factor that i'm not so sure about since i dont know anyone who has owned it.
if any of you own a 2003 or 2004 corolla, your input/experience would be appreciated so that I can make my mind about it. I'm kind of sick and tired of the ongoing problems with the ls400's. everyone i know spends an average of 200 to 300 every two months on repairs. and i'd rather buy a new corolla for that much and not worry about making frequent trips to the dealer every month.
thanks.

a Corolla ??
C'mon. You gotta know what to expect when you ask LEXUS owners about buying a Corolla instead. And this is to replace an LS ???
Hey, I own a Corolla - sorta - a Corolla Matrix. But it is a third car just for fun. I will not even dream of replacing my LS with a 2008 Corolla !!! Not that the Corolla is a bad car tho', but to replace an LS ???
When you own a luxury car, you gotta expect to pony up some $$$ to keep it in tip-top shape. Besides yours is probably a 1st gen. That may explain why its costing you a bit to maintain. Why not simply trade up to a '95-'97 model, for about the same as a 2004 Corolla. The LS is simply a far better car than a Corolla could ever be.
Good luck in whatever you decide.
