Default Hello, Goodbye 97 Coach Edition

I will be selling him soon. Yeah I named my car Tyrone. Inspired by the movie ******. "He can move when he has to."
I've never owned a car so wonderful before. The only thing I don't like about it: how much it makes me want to get insanely expensive wheels, lowering kit, and a few other things
Without a doubt, he has the best factory stereo that came in any of my vehicles, and it's not the Nakamichi! The Silver Jade Pearl is quite an elegant color.....not very manly Tyrone....

That coach edition looks gorgeous, I'm surprise your stereo display is still intact and not defect as far as display. Keep it why sell?

That's what my wife says too. After reading more and more about the 98-00 I want one more and more. We bought this car thinking it would get us out of my 97 Civic that's been a money pit. If I had taken it to a pro for a deep inspection before buying it, I would've negotiated the price or not bought the car. We wanted a car that needed nothing and wouldn't need any service more than like oil changes/tires for the 1st year of having it. I drive less than 1200 miles per month.

So does it need work, or did you have the work taken care of?

Leaking power steering pump, hose, and possibly rack also. I put ATP stop leak in; now I'm waiting to see if it works. Oil pan gasket needs replaced, but since I just had the oil changed, they recommended I wait until the next one to do it. The car rides good to me, but I don't see anything in the service history of struts being done, and It seems that folks in C.L. would say they're much overdue by this age/mileage.

I looked over a 98 today. What I decided is that the drivetrain is all I really want from it. I would have to replace the steering wheel the first week I had it. I'm one of the few who wishes all the wood in the car was brushed metal or something. Also, I couldn't drive it looking at what my wife calls "the ticker tape" in the gauge cluster every day. Her tone sounded like she wouldn't either. The info display is useful but not pleasing to our eyes. I like how the clock and outside temp are arranged in the 97 better. I prefer the 97 headlights. So, after a lengthy convo with my better half, Tyrone stays. Now to finish repairs, get windows tinted, new stereo, LED bulbs, an exhaust, tanabe springs, upgrade shocks, 18" wheels, Version Select F&R bumpers, trunk spoiler, clear signals, LED tail lights, and.......
