Default Mazda RX-8 Rims on a 96 LS400

With summer approaching, I have been looking to purchase rims for my new LS400. Accidently I came across a picture of RX-8 Rims fitted on an LS400. The picture I found was however off a first gen LS400 and with the bigger calipers on the second gen I'm not sure if they will fit because of the offset.

Has anyone here done this before? Or know of anyone who has fitted RX-8 Rims to an LS? I think those rims fit the car fairly well, and I found a pair on Kijiji about 20 minutes from my house $200
For the set of 4.

Thanks!

Unlikely to fit 2nd gen brakes without 15-20mm spacers.

You can be the guinea pig.
