Default Need some information please-door & fender interchange?

Hey everybody, I just got a 1997 LS 400 that needs the drivers side door and fender replaced. What model years are interchangeable. Trying to make my parts pool as big as possible. I have heard conflicting information about doors from later years('98 to 2000) fitting.

Keep in mind that only the door SHELL is interchangeable, the motors and electronics are specific, so better off sticking to 95-97 for all of it.

Yea, I should have specified that. When I go looking for body parts all I'm ever concerned with is the metal as the rest is swappable unless something was broke in a wreck or something. Going about it this way will often allow you to find paint matched parts and not even have to deal with paint.

Paint matched parts. Best advice for the day award.

Thanks for the replies. If I can make it right without needing to paint that would be great.
