Question Reading UCF11 Wiring Diagram

Hi Y'all,

This is sort of an update on my previous post found here.

So I finally got the wiring manual and have been able to sit down and make slow headway into repairing the wire mess the previous owner made to my beauty. However, I have a question specific to reading wiring schematics.

I've matched up the pin-out wires numbers on the 28-pin male connector that plugs into the ECM (link). Pins 2 and 3 (yellow and green, respectively) have me confused and I'd like a bit of clarification on them.

The wiring diagram shows this. The (non-destroyed) leads I clipped from Pick-Pocket have these original two wires in a pigtail format.

In my massacred harness, it looks like they ran the non-shielded wires that split from the green and yellow shielded wires to the brown wire, as seen here.

**Question: Looking at the OEM Wiring Diagram, do the non-shielded yellow and green wires go directly to the brown wire, as the previous "repairs" had done?** If not, where do those wires go? Any help on how to properly read that diagram (boxed in read) would be helpful. I've not seen a diagram like that before. Thanks in advance!
