Default Top coolant hose end?

Hey guys, my 99 ls400 heater started blowing cold air. Turns out the coolant was pretty low.
I topped off the coolant, but noticed it started leaking under the car.

This hose isn't connected to anything and I spend 15 min under the hood and couldn't find the other end.
Where does this plug into??

Overflow hose.

That should be connected to a nipple on the passenger side of the radiator. That nipple is notorious for snapping off if you man handle the house while removing it.

No, UNCNOR is right, that's just the overflow hose that just hangs straight down. But you're right, that nipple on the radiator breaks quite easily if you lean on it.

No worries with that, it doesn't attach to anything but is for overflow. The factory overflow hose has a bend that angles down along the reservoir. That one is fine, so long as any overflow is not directed at the alternator, ABS or into the serpentine belt to splatter coolant around the engine bay if venting out.
