Cluster Issue, Can't See Mileage
My instrument cluster doesn't show the cars mileage or anything that would be displayed on the bottom led strip. Is this just a bulb on the cluster or a setting or something else? I got the car like this. The mileage reading and everything works because it can be read when you shine a flashlight onto it. It's a 2000 ls400.

Sounds like the CCFL or an inverter failure to me. The display at the bottom is not a LED strip but a LCD strip which uses a CCFL back light.
