Default Lights are really dim on my window/door swiches

So I know this is mainly a cosmetic thing but I like to try to keep my 96 LS400 as new as possible and have everything working . The picture I attached below is a image of the Master Window Switch. As you can see the lights are pretty dim. What my question is, are they suppose to be that dark? If not is it possible to repair and what would I need to repair them?

Thanks

There are no bulbs/lamps available for the

84040 - MASTER SWITCH ASSY,MULTIPLEX NETWORK

84930 - SWITCH ASSY, DOOR CONTROL

84030 - SWITCH ASSY,MULTIPLEX NETWORK

You could try open them up and see if you can change the LED-lamps in there, like I did with the seat belt switch/lock.

I'm pretty sure that's the way the switches illuminate. I wouldn't worry.

I never noticed them as being too bright on any 1990-1994 models I've seen over the past decade, including my own.

Ok thanks, yea I looked at my other doors and they appear to have the same brightness. However my radio back light does not work. I am guessing the bulbs went out in there. Do you guys know where I can get the OEM lights to put in there. I do know they have to be soldered on.

Thanks

there are small bulbs in there and that is the normal brightness. you may just have dirt in there over the years that collected. not sure if the lights are replaceable but if you want them brighter, you can try and see if you can replace them with LED equivalents.
