Battery light on altenator is good and so is the battery.
About a week ago I left out in the morning and noticed my battery light was on I thought. Well it must be my altenator which I just replaced 4 months ago. Well I took it off and it was good and so is my battery. The connector wire to the altenator seemed worn out so I replaced it and the light is still on and the battery isn't getting charged. I checked the altenator Volts underneath the car it's operatoring at 14.2 or 3. But for some reason isn't not charging the battery. I need some suggests thanks.

So the power from the alternator is not getting to the battery terminal? Check 120 amp fusible link. Disconnect battery, disconnect big wire from alternator and do a resistance check of the wire from battery to alternator, I'd be looking for corrosion in the terminal ends, and even on the fusible link connections. That wire is a direct connection from the alternator post thru the 120 amp fusible link and then to the battery, so the problem is there some place.

Yea do a voltage drop test from the alternator to battery positive post. The problem s certainly in there. Bad connection, corrosion mid cable or at the connections or bad fusible link.

I checked the ground wire from the altenator underneath the car it's getting 14.3 volts. I replaced the connector wire my old one was worn out. I got it from the dealer they gave me 3 of the same terminal wires which concerns me because the old wires are not the same size. Any possibility that could be the issue? The battery light is still on and I'm not getting a charge to the battery. Thanks the new part did not come Assembled .

So you still don't understand what dicer kindly informed you at the post #5

Probably you don't know what are existing between the B+ terminal of the alternator and the battery positive post.
Between them, there exist terminals, a 120A fuse and wires. All you need is to check the conductivity of those as dicer and Banshee365 suggest.
